Important to know
Incomes:
The job offer or contract must specify a salary equal to or above the Portuguese minimum wage, currently set at 820€/month.
Documents:
- Job offer or contract from a Portuguese employer with a salary of at least 820€/month, matching the minimum wage;
- Authorization for AIMA to access the Portuguese criminal record;
- Apostilled criminal record from any country you’ve lived in for over a year after turning 18;
- Proof of accommodation (1-year rental agreement);
- Completed D1 visa application form;
- Valid passport (with at least 6 months remaining before travel);
- Two passport-sized photos;
- Valid travel insurance with health coverage;
- Six months of bank statements;
- NIF (Portuguese tax identification number).
